IS THE CHECK CARD LIKE A CREDIT CARD?
No, the check card is tied directly to your checking account. Purchases you make with the check card are usually deducted from your checking account within 48 hours and in some cases (when the PIN number is used) the transactions are deducted from your checking account immediately. Unlike a credit card, there is no monthly interest charged on a check card nor is there a monthly payment due.
HOW DO I APPLY FOR A CHECK CARD?
First you must have a valid checking account in good standing with us. You may visit any of our branches to apply or download an application. You may also call us at 800-749-9732 ext. 1005 to apply over the phone.
HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY CARD?
Please call 877-703-5978 to activate your card.
HOW MUCH CAN I SPEND PER DAY ON MY CARD?
With your PIN number, you may withdrawal or spend up to $625 per day against the available balance in your account. On signature, internet or phone purchases you may spend up to $2500 per day against the available balance in your account.
CAN I USE MY CARD ONLINE?
Yes, online shopping with your card is allowed. Before you shop online, please make sure that we have your correct address on file—some online merchants will verify your billing address before allowing a purchase to go through.
CAN I USE MY CARD IN ANOTHER COUNTRY?
Yes, your card is good worldwide wherever Visa is accepted. Before travelling to another country, it’s always a good idea to contact us so we may notify our fraud monitoring service.
IF MY CARD IS LOST OR STOLEN, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Call us immediately at 800-749-9732 ext. 1005 during normal business hours. If we are not open, you may call 877-703-5978 24 hours a day to report a lost or stolen card.
